Description

These plants are drought-tolerant and grow in a clump that does not spread. The bluish flowers are held high above the leaves. After flowering the seeds form inside berries which are initially greenish then turn purple. Like many lilies, each flower often lasts only a few days but as there are many flowers on a stem they can be colourful for weeks.

Also known as Dianella longifolia.

Advice

Maintenance

Cutting off the flower stem after flowering will keep the plant looking neat.
